Babar Has 32 centuries, 110 fifties, 16,000 runs
Riding high on consistent performances with the bat, Pakistan’s star batter Babar Azam is back to the International Cricket Council [ICC] top ranking charts in the ODIs and Tests.
According to the latest ICC rankings released on 12 August, Babar Azam is now ranked 6th in the ODI format and 10th in the red ball format.
Azam has 716 points in Tests and 689 in ODIs.
In the recently concluded two-match test series against the West Indies, Babar Azam scored 23 & 58* in Tarouba, and 88 & 24* in Port of Spain.
Prior to this, he made 68 & 47 against Bangladesh in the Sylhet test, and 16 & 50 against South Africa in the Rawalpindi test.
In his last four tests, Babar Azam has made four half-centuries, amassing 374 runs while maintaining an average of 62.3 each innings.
Overall, he has amassed 4674 runs in tests laced with 9 centuries and 33 fifties, averaging 44.
In 140 ODI innings, Babar Azam has scored 6626 runs with 20 centuries and 38 fifties, averaging 54.
In T20I format, the batter has 4596 runs in 136 innings with three centuries and 39 fifties.
Across all formats, Babar Azam has 32 centuries and 110 fifties while amassing nearly 16,000 runs in international cricket.
