Thanks to a magnificent century by Tayyab Tahir (108 runs in 71 balls), Shaheens posted an imposing total of 352 runs for the loss of eight wickets in their allotted 50 overs. Opening pair comprising Saim Ayub (59) and Sahibzada Farhan (65) scored impressive half centuries while forging a partnership of 121 runs.

India-A spin bowlers controlled the middle period of the game by removing Qasim and skipper Mohammad Haris cheaply but Tayyab Tahir had other ideas. Together with Omair Yousuf and Mubashir Khan, Tahir stayed at the crease and scored a match winning century to help Shaheens post a mammoth total.

In response to Shaheens’ 352, India A started their innings in style but lost both openers after getting starts. Shaheen spinners strangulated the India A middle order and in the end pacers Arshad Iqbal and Mohammad Wasim Jr. bowled beautifully to restrict India A to 224.

Tayyab Tahir was adjudged player of the finals for his century and taking two catches.
